About

There’s a reason they say “Mother knows best.”

Since I was old enough to wield a pencil, my mom has told me I should be a writer. I resisted for decades, and through multiple other careers — I’ve been a Spanish professor, a yoga studio owner, a professional baker — but the urge to write was too strong. And now here I am… thanks, Mom.

I write about what I know (love, friendship, reality TV), and what fascinates me (imperfect women, things that aren’t as they seem, unchecked greed).

I also get a lot of joy out of helping other writers, and I’m currently pursuing an education in Developmental Editing. I’ll be looking to build my portfolio, so watch this space!

And when I’m not doing bookish things, I’m practicing or teaching yoga, baking, cooking, and being “that mom” in the stands at my kids sporting events.
